Today’s knowledge for tomorrow’s actions – a Nordic perspective on Deafblindness
Disability issues
Continuing development of services for people with deafblindness depend on innovation, research and technology. What do we see now – and what lies in the future?
Nordic cooperation in deafblindness has a long history and from the very beginning, there has been a tradition of arranging Nordic deafblind conferences. The aim of these conferences is to develop and share knowledge, networking and strengthening the Nordic cooperation.
The tradition of Nordic conferences continues, and the next conference will be arranged in Tampere, Finland, 20-22 September 2022. Join us to exchange knowledge and experiences.
The conference Today’s knowledge for tomorrow’s actions – a Nordic perspective on Deafblindness is hosted by Nordic Welfare Centre, an institution in the Nordic Council of Ministers’ social and health sector. The conference has been supported by Finland's Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers 2021.
