Academic Network of European Disability Experts
The Academic Network of European Disability Experts (ANED) was created by the European Commission in December 2007. The aim is to establish and maintain a pan-European academic network in the disability field that will support policy development in collaboration with the Commission’s Disability Unit.
In each of the countries ANED has one institute or individual expert as the contact for that country. The contacts are:

Journals
Scandinavian Journal of Disability Research (Taylor & Francis) is an international peer-reviewed journal aiming to disseminate innovative, high quality, social research on disability, which enables critical reflection on the position of people with disabilities in different societal contexts.
The Scientific Journal Nordic Welfare Research (Scandinavian University Press) publishes articles about various welfare policy themes, such as the circumstances and living conditions of the population, working life and integration, social services, health care, public health, disability issues, and alcohol and drug policy. The journal was established in 2016.
