The Funding Scheme
Apply for funding for Nordic cooperation between disability organisations and chronic disease organisations
Through our funding scheme, the Nordic Welfare Centre distributes approximately SEK 1.5 million each year to stimulate cooperation between disability organisations and chronic disease organisations in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
The funding is intended to help organisations exchange experiences and knowledge and build cooperation with similar organisations in other countries. The activity must promote the interests of people with disabilities or chronic diseases in society.
Funding can be obtained for:
- Networking activities with participants from at least three of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Åland). Organisations in the Baltic countries can also apply for funding or participate in the cooperation. A minimum of two participating Nordic organisations is always required. The activity must have a specific programme and take place in the Nordic region or in the Baltic region.
- In connection to networking activities, some additional project activities may also obtain funding. It is not possibly to apply only for project funding.
The application for funding for 2027 will be open from 24 September to 29 October 2026.
You can keep up to date about upcoming applications through Nordic Welfare Centre’s newsletter. You will also get information about projects we are working on and about new publications and upcoming conferences. You can sign up for our newsletter here!
