Intercultural officer of the University of Iceland and director of the project Sprettur of the department of Academic Affairs, a social innovation project on integration of immigrants towards higher education in Iceland.

Areas of expertise: I am an educator of formal and non formal learning with more than 15 years of experience working for the benefit of the immigrant community in Iceland. I am also a trainer of trainers for the youth program of the European commision with a focus on ecocentric learning, intercultural awareness, interfaith communication, integral wellbeing, performative practices and transformative pedagogy. I speak Spanish, English and Icelandic, and I have good experience working and coordinating international teams to develop educational projects and strategic partnerships, from design, implementation, logistics, evaluation and feedback.

My passions in life: caring for my family and spending time in nature, exploring, swimming and walking in the mountains. I am also passionate about poetry, literature, theatre and cinema.
