Areas of expertise: I lead a multinational team of scientists and technicians that advice the government of Greenland about the sustainable use and conservation of birds and mammals. Skills needed for this job include communication of science, project management, fundraising, teamwork and recruitment of highly educated staff. I was born and raised in Mexico City, but for the last 35 years I have lived in Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Wales and, since 2005, Greenland.
Passion in life: I have a nearly life-long interest in photography, and I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts and spending time with my loved ones.
