The Nordic expert group on labour market integration of refugees and migrants

The Nordic expert group on labour market integration is an informal Nordic network for experts in the field. The participants, 2–3 from each Nordic country, mainly represent national ministries or authorities responsible for integration, or umbrella organisations for local and regional authorities. Participation in the group is for three-year periods at a time. The expert group is coordinated by the Integration Norden -project at the Nordic Welfare Centre.
The main purpose of the expert group is twofold: 1) to support the work of the project with professional expertise, and 2) to function as professional forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences on integration with colleagues across the Nordics.
The expert group is of key importance in ensuring the Nordic activities in the project address the right questions and are relevant for the work done in the national settings. The experts share current information on integration issues from their own countries and sectors, which will help the project team stay updated.
