Female international net migration rate in 2015

This map shows the international net migration rate for females in 2015. International migration refers to the migration to and from abroad (domestic migration is not included) and female net migration rate is calculated as female net migration as a share (%) of the total female population.
The blue areas on the map show municipalities/regions with international net immigration, the red areas show municipalities/regions with net emigration and the yellow areas show municipalities/regions with balanced international net migration.
International migration refers to persons who have moved to or from abroad. This map does not differentiate between different forms of migration. It can be migration due to work and studies, refugees who were granted asylum or citizens that have returned from abroad. Asylum seekers are not included in the migration statistics as only those who have been granted asylum are registered as part of the population.
There is no data for Norway, Greenland or Faroe Islands.
