Final Report from Knowledge Centre for Unaccompanied Children

In March 2017, the National Board of Health and Welfare was tasked with establishing a knowledge centre for issues related to unaccompanied children and young people. The assignment has lasted four years and will be finalised in March 2021 with this report.
The report describes the work conducted by the Knowledge Centre for Unaccompanied Children between 2017 and 2020. Initially, a description is also given of what the National Board of Health and Welfare between 2015 and 2017, when the Centre was started. At the end of the report, there is a description of the current situation for the reception on unaccompanied child-ren and young people in social services and healthcare.
The work related to the final report was led by Head of unit Petra Rinman together with programme officers Elisabet Svedberg and Marie-Anne Karlsson.
