The Nordic countries find themselves in a paradoxical situation: While there is a major labour shortage, many unemployed foreign-born people cannot find work.
How can we become better at recognising people with a migrant background as a resource? What can the Nordic countries learn from each other to improve matching, to broaden recruitment and to build education programmes that lead to jobs?
The seminar will discuss from different Nordic perspectives what is needed for good and sustainable integration in the labour market and in society. We will also hear concrete examples of integration work from different parts of the Nordic region.
Register here for the online broadcast of the conference. Interested individuals may also enroll and participate in the in-person event happening on 4 and 5 October at SFV House G18, Yrjönkatu 18 a, 00120 Helsinki. Further details can be found at this link
