Health and welfare technology is playing an increasingly important role in the development of future health and social care services. To strengthen research, education and knowledge development in this field, the interdisciplinary Nordic research network: Health- and welfare technology (HWT) was established in 2019. The network brings together researchers and educators from across the Nordic countries to promote collaboration, knowledge exchange and innovation, with a focus on users’ needs and the characteristics of the Nordic welfare systems.
