Disability issues

I år deltar för första gången alla de nordiska länderna i statspartsmötet för FN:s konvention om rättigheter för personer med funktionsnedsättning, UNCRPD. Evenemanget pågår den 12-14 juni och kan följas live.

Temat för årets session som är den 11:e för konventionen, är: Leaving no one behind through the full implementation of the CRPD. Generaldebatten och flera av sidoevenemangen sänds live och kan ses här: http://webtv.un.org/

Underteman för mötet är: National fiscal space, public-private partnerships and international cooperation for strengthening the implementation of the CRPD, Women and girls with disabilities och Political participation and equal recognition before the law. Det finns även ett genomgående tema som är: Promoting high-quality disability statistics and disaggregation of data by disability status for the full realization of the rights of persons with disabilities.
