Older people from migrant backgrounds constitute a growing group across the Nordic region, but remain under-represented in participatory processes, service development, and age-friendly policy. At the same time, this group often faces linguistic, cultural and systemic barriers – yet they also bring with them rich care practices, social structures and forms of community that are rarely utilised as resources in Nordic welfare development.
