Public health
Currently an estimated 500,000 people in the Nordic countries have dementia, and the numbers are on the rise. As there is no existing cure, it’s vital to implement preventive measures that promote brain health and mitigate the challenges of living with dementia. This conference shares knowledge on how the Nordic countries seek to prevent dementia across the life course.
The Swedish Ministry for Health and Social Affairs in collaboration with the Nordic Welfare Centre welcome Nordic and Baltic colleagues working in dementia and public health policy to a conference in Sweden on 4 September 2024. The conference is part of the programme of the 2024 Swedish Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers.
The one-day conference will be held in the city centre of Stockholm. Further details on the programme and registration will follow.
