First call for abstracts: Nordic Alcohol and Drug Researchers’ Assembly 2021

The Nordic Alcohol and Drug Researchers’ Assembly (NADRA) will take place at Hanaholmen, Espoo, in Finland 8 – 10 September 2021. First call for abstracts is out now.
NADRA 2021 focuses on marginalization and complex problems as challenges for Nordic social sustainability. Participants are encouraged to submit thematic contributions regarding new and old marginalization, welfare state recalibration, and gambling policies. The keynote talks will touch upon the following topics:
New and old marginalization
Keynote: Riikka Perälä, Dr.Mc.Soc., researcher, University of Helsinki Centre Research on Addiction, Control and Governance
Welfare state recalibration
Keynote: Bagga Bjerge, Associate professor at Aarhus University BSS, Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research, Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences
Gambling policy research
Keynote: Jenny Cisneros Örnberg, Associate Professor and Deputy Head of Department at Stockholm University, Department of Public Health Sciences
We warmly welcome abstracts related to these topics, as well as other topics within the field of social alcohol and drug research. Abstracts can be written and presented in English, Swedish, Norwegian or Danish.
The maximum number of participants is 70. Participants with accepted abstracts are prioritized but we also welcome participants without abstracts.
Conference registration and abstract submission will open 1 March 2021. The deadline for registration and submission of abstracts is 30 April 2021.
